Is Google AdWords PPC Starting to Follow SEO Model?

Google announced that they now have added more “things” that play a part in your Pay Per Click ad rank. What is it … ? It’s your landing page.
Before, Google would take into consideration 2 things. Your (CPC) cost per click and your CTR (click through rate). Based on those 2 things Google would decide what position your AdWords ad deserves. As we know this is a smarter model than what Yahoo had. Google simply said … if your ad is more popular (higher CTR), then even though you pay less, at the end they’ll make more money with your ad than with a guy who’s ad has a much lower click through rate.
Well … now the 3rd major “tweag” comes to play. It’s your landing page. Here I see more advantage to the end user and not a direct money making tactic for Google.
call for those advertisers that have been sleeping all this time. Those who don’t even know what a landing page is … they’re the 3rd world country right now.
Anyway … worknow.Anywayanding pages. Google will most likely favor those landing pages that have content relevant to the Ad content. This brings us back to the “Scent” technique where your ad has to be relevant to your copy. Why??? Because if your potential customer clicked on your ad, most likely he/she was interested in what you offered. If your landing page does not re-state the offer, your potential customer is gone.
I think that Google will also look at the URL you’re redirecting people to. They’ll look for those yoursite.com/?codeyoursiteyourcode
