Pre-Defining Website Path Analysis From a Second Page

I hear it all the time … “our home page has many different directions where visitors might go and so we can’t structure a pre-defined path route”. I can actually relate to this problem. But how do you go about pre-defining the path and working on achieving it?
It’s easy …. start from the second page.
When your visitor chooses a door (2nd page to view) he/she tells you a bit about themselves. You now know the interest of the visitor and what they are looking for. That is when you can start working on pre-defining the path you want visitors to follow. That is where you can create elements that will have their effect on moving visitor through the web doors you want them to move.
Bottom line is … pre-defining a visitor path is crucial. If you don’t have one you’re simply not working on the improvement of your website’s visit flow. Remember …. take them by their hand and walk them through your website. We can still be in control of our website. To do that you should work on your path analysis and now there is no reason to ignore it.
Start from the second page.
