There is some talk about Google changing it’s results layout. Here is a quick shot of it

Now … my thoughts are that Google might be changing the layout for few reasons.

1) I think people will pay more attention to those paid ads, and thus … more clicks, more money for Google.

2) Maybe Google wants to implement those Binoculars that ASK.com has to preview the site before clicking on the link.

3) Well what about just cleaning up the page?

4) Or maybe they want to give you more info about the site on a right side of the page?

For now this change is unconfirmed and it’s still being talked about in other forums and blogs. I am actually in favor of Google placing ads this way as many people do not look at the right side of the page on Google. Another reason is … paid ads will be close to natural search and now the quality of your ad and the headline will play a much bigger part in your campaign.

With this possible design/layout ……… people see your ad, so now it’s up to you to make them click.
