Well, I am off to the PubCon show in Vegas from November 14 to 17. This sounds like it’s going to be a great show. I am interested in hearing from familiar faces like Rand Fishkin, Aaron Wall, Lee Odden, Dana Todd, Matt Cutts, Danny Sullivan, Andy Beal, Christine Churchill, etc.

The session grid for the show looks very good. Couple of times I had to choose between two sessions that would be running at the same time. If you find your self in the same situation, here is my suggestion. Go to the one where the speakers are not known to you and you don’t know where they usually blog or even if the do.

I enjoy reading blogs of above mentioned speakers, but the beauty of it is that you’ll be able to catch on to their presentations FROM THEIR BLOGS (most of the time). Other less known speakers to you can have something that you have not heard of yet. So … bottom line is, don’t just pick sessions only by familiar faces you like seeing and hearing.

Even though the conference is going to be held in the Vegas convention center, I’ve decided to stay at the hotel that’s right on the strip. Hint …. very close to Bellagio.

I will be blogging and making notes of every session I go to. Besides just paraphrasing what the speakers say I will be brutally honest about what I think of them and the presentation. If I see that a speaker is clearly advertising his/her company (instead of providing quality info), I’ll let you know here.

No I will not sit every night while I am in Vegas to blog. Let me enjoy the evenings. I’ll blog when I come back. (Can it still be called “Conference blogging”)?
