Community Equals Higher Website Conversion Rate

People want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. We want to get on the “community” boat and have a part in building the thing that’s bigger than us. Even when we prefer to join a smaller group, we like it for it’s exclusivity and yet we work to make it bigger and better.
The more your business looks like a community the more loyal your customers will be (does not apply to ALL businesses out there but is effective for most).
Look at Amazon and Ebay. Isn’t it true you can spend hours on those websites without buying a thing. Why ? Well … these websites are a community for people to be a part of.
Ratings, reviews, feedback, what others bought, best sellers of the week, etc… People like to talk and discuss things. Many rely heavily on ratings and customer reviews when they shop for a product. All those reviews make people stay longer on your website as they become part of that community.
