Danny Sullivan is Out of SES and SEW … In Case Your Didn’t Know
By Igor Mordkovich on Aug 31, 2006 in General
Ok .. the forums, message boards and blogs have been going crazy with the news of Danny Sullivan leaving Search Engine Strategies conference that he usually runs and the Search Engine Watch site that he founded.
I first read about it on Tuesday early morning from some affiliate blog, before all the others picked up on it. It took me over 48 hours to blog about it. (A bit Busy)
If you have anything to do with SEO, SEM or just web community, you have heard his name as he is considered to be “the Father” of search marketing.
I’ve met Danny once in the NY SES conference. To me he seemed like a very approachable and easy going guy. I noticed how many show speakers were always around him.
What can I say that has not been said today and yesterday? I wish Danny all the best and I am sure with his reputation and success he is not going to have a problem finding things to do in the “search” industry.
I am going to be attending the NYC SES show in 2007 and it is going to be sad and at the same time interesting (not in a good way) to see this show go on without it’s leader.
